I graduated from Kansas State University in 2004. I owned a mobile veterinary service for 17 years in Ellinwood, KS, and the Topeka area before buying the office in Topeka. My husband Ryan and I have 3 adult children and 4 large crazy dogs, Hazel, Kalious, Nova, and Sherman.
Even though I went to high school in Nebraska, I have always considered Seneca, Kansas to be my hometown. Kansas has been my home for most of my life. I graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 1998 and from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. My husband, Dan, and I have been married for over 25 years. We have three children. Our house is also home to two labradors, several cats, and lots of chickens. I’ve worked as a relief veterinarian and as an associate veterinarian at several clinics across Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. Former Dr. Post clients may remember me from my days as one of his veterinary associates. I’ll never forget the first time I walked into this practice after 15 years. The clinic may look a little different than it did back then, but the family-like atmosphere has not changed at all. The staff here are amazing. Outside of veterinary practice, I have a variety of interests, hobbies, and activities. I like to cook and bake. I keep busy with my kids’ school and family church activities. I enjoy spending time outdoors. During the summer, I keep a vegetable garden and my husband and I are always doing some “projects” in our yard. I would say that there is never a dull moment, but sometimes, even the dull moments are enjoyable when I spend them with the people and animals I care about.
I am a veterinary technician. I enjoy all aspects of patient care and believe I have the best work family out there. My husband and I have three children and a lot of pets, including 1 rowdy dog, 2 cats, fish, 4 rabbits, ducks, and chickens. I also enjoy gardening and grow cut flowers during the summer months.
I am married and have 5 kids (3 adults and 2 teenagers). I also have 3 rescue dogs! I’ve been here since opening day and can honestly say it’s the best group of people and the best environment to work in.
I am currently working on my veterinary technician degree. I believe that what we do is important. I try to treat everyone’s pet as if they were my own because pets are family too!
The Mountains’ have been lucky enough to have me working with them since opening the clinic in 2022. I have worked in animal health for 6 years and before that human healthcare for 13 years. Caring for things has always been a passion of mine. I have a busy household consisting of 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a rabbit.
I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant since 2001, due to my lifelong passion for animals and their care. I’ve been a licensed foster with the shelter since 2011 and also branched off into specializing in behavioral training and dog psychology in 2022. When not at home cuddling my 4 cats, I enjoy travel and hiking adventures with my daughter, as well as photography, studying alternative healing modalities, and racing SCCA autocross. I was super stoked to be added to the Mountain Veterinary family, where the whole team is dedicated to providing the best care and comfort for all the fur babies we are blessed to meet.
I have been working with animals for 6 years and I have had pets my whole life. I can’t imagine lifting my career off anywhere else. In my free time I enjoy reading and listening to music. My very good friends are Miss Regina Pickles and Sherman Mountain.
I’m from Puerto Rico and was raised in Spanish Harlem N.Y. I have been seen at Mountain Veterinary since the summer of 2024 but have worked with vets for the last three years. I must say that I am happy to be here. I love my place of work and my coworkers. I am grateful for the opportunity to help the Hispanic community when their fur babies need help. I am a fur mom to 3 angels Nena, Princess, and my problem child Londyn.
